The Olympic Business Journal accepts press releases on events, openings, changes, awards, new services, and free classes. Send an email to news@objnews.com or mail at 203-C W. Business Briefs

Business briefs are accepted for events, relocations, openings, significant business changes, awards, new services, free classes, etc. Briefs should be three to four paragraphs long and the word count should not exceed 170 words.

Business Briefs example

In the first paragraph include the reason for submitting the brief, such as "Carroll Realty sold its property management business to James & Associates Inc. of Port Angeles last month."

The second paragraph should include more information and a perhaps quotes from the owner or manager.

The third paragraph should contain contact information.

Faces of Business

Faces of Business is available free to all businesses to introduce new hires, recognize employees for receiving awards, announce promotions, business acquisitions, etc.

Faces of Business Example

Faces should be three to four paragraphs long and the word count should not exceed 170 words. Digital photographs are encouraged. Photo size should be no larger than 2 inches wide and have a dpi of no less than 170. When using a digital camera, be sure the setting is on as high a quality as possible. With that being said, please size the photo to reduce file size.

In the first paragraph include the reason for submitting the Faces of Business, such as "Traci Pederson has been promoted to branch manager at First Federal Savings and Loan Associations' Forks branch located at ......"

The second paragraph should include a brief career biography of the person and a description of the new job duties or responsibilities.

The third paragraph should contain contact information.
